A highly successful Specialist/niche SME manufacturing company require an ambitious and driven Management Accountant to join their team. In this role will bridge the gap between the finance director and the transactional finance team, providing essential support in the production of management accounts and more.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Producing a full set of management accounts
• Detailed analysis of financial data, including variances and trends
• Prepare insightful commentaries and reports on financial performance
• Involvement in financial accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L, and trial balance reviews
• Assist in continuous improvement of reporting processes
• Support the transactional finance team and act as a bridge between the operational and management functions

Key Skills & Experience:

• Must have experience in producing management accounts
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain variances
• Good understanding of balance sheets, P&L, and trial balance
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to create commentaries and reports
• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop within the role
