Role Profile:
These are exciting roles providing support to the business, through providing effective business partnering to stakholders across the Halfords business and the creation of financial reporting which drives decision making. As a Finance Business Partner you will provide effective analysis to Stakeholders, which helps to provide financial control across several areas of spend and make informed decisions over the shape of the Halfords estate.

• The ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. The ability to use PowerBI is desirable.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
• Fully qualified chartered accountant with experience in property desirable
• The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office based.

As a Finance Business Partner you will provide effective analysis to Stakeholders, which helps to provide financial control across several areas of spend and make informed decisions over the shape of the Halfords estate.
What will the role involve?
- Supporting the Finance teams in the delivery of strategy, driving business performance by providing appropriate financial support.
- Producing financial analysis and commentary - including weekly and monthly reporting, providing accurate, timely and insightful information, and support with appropriate decision making.
- Supporting the Finance Leadership Team in understanding and controlling costs, challenging where necessary, and helping to drive operational efficiencies.
- Holding a key role in the creation of budgets and forecasts for future activity, inputting into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
- Providing ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to help support various projects.
- Be comfortableappraising investments and business opportunities, using appropriate financial modelling to drive decision making including.
- Presenting as necessary to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.
