Are you a skilled Bookkeeper looking for a fantastic opportunity? Based in Kettering, this office-based role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 along with excellent benefits. You will play a crucial part in delivering comprehensive accountancy services for a diverse range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Record financial transactions, including sales and purchase ledgers, and maintain control accounts.

- Perform bank reconciliations and manage month-end procedures efficiently.

- Prepare, complete, and submit online VAT returns in a timely manner.

- Process monthly payroll and generate payroll documents using Sage and HMRC software.

- Handle supplier invoices and execute BACS payments, ensuring account reconciliation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

The Bookkeepper will have the majority of the following experience:

- AAT membership or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.

- Proficient in financial management software, particularly SAGE payroll and Xero.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.



SALARY:

Basic salary up to £30,000



LOCATION:


Office based in Kettering.

Commute From:

Northampton, Wellingborough, Thrapston, and Daventry.
