Position: Specialist/ Sr. Specialist - GL
Experience: 7-15 Years

Job

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all journal entries are posted on time and correctly.
  • Bank, payroll, accrual, advance and deposits schedules are maintained properly and accurately.
  • P&L, BS trend analysis and preparation of Schedule of P&L and BS for all entities.
  • Preparation and Finalization of Financials on Monthly/Quarterly basis.
  • Review the elimination and consolidated level BS and P&L on time and accurately.
  • Validation of Trial balance and ensure that all the entries are booked.
  • Ensure Tax compliance for the local entities (Business Tax, Corp Income Tax, Withholding Tax, GST etc.)
  • Prepare cash flow statement for weekly, monthly and share to sr. manager , VP and CFO
  • Handling Statutory Audit including preparation and filing of statutory accounts
  • Support Managers to ensure that all internal and external controls are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and of the highest quality and ensure that team metrics/KPIs are met
  • Review and ensure that all Fixed asset register tracker on time and accurate.
  • Provide timely and effectively communicated responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the R2R function, in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as assigned related to R2R duties as assigned by Managers and management.
  • Drive Process improvements and keeping SOP documentation up-to-date.
  • Reporting automation and innovation, Continuous improvements, simplification and optimization, Efficiency and Cost Savings improvement contribute towards Value creation.
  • Management of GL controls /Check list/activity calendar and KPI Metrics
  • On Demand information and Reports
  • Proactive issue Management
Skill set Required:
  • Must possess Proficient written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong R2R process knowledge to co-ordinate with vendor, approver, Others.
  • Team handling experience to supporting and upskill the team members.
  • Strong desktop /Spread sheet /data management skill.
  • Experience in SAP AP process knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems.
  • Well organized& time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement actions required to achieve functional goals.
