Job Description
Our client is a leading South African bank and they are looking for a Coverage / Relationship Banker to join their coverage team in the mid-corporate client segment.

The candidate can choose to be either based in the Western Cape or Eastern Cape; they will have a broad Cape region of responsibility

Primary mandate includes growing commercial bank revenue through the management of, and cross-selling of products to an existing portfolio; as well as the acquisition of new high-revenue mid-corporate customers.

The Coverage Banker will facilitate a single point of contact with clients, but will work with a team of specialists; ideally the candidate will have industry knowledge, leverage finance skills and treasury management skills.

Requirements

• a B Com Degree is preferred and FAIS RE certification is essential
• 7 - 10 years exposure to a combination of Transactional Banking; Sales, Deal-making and Portfolio Management
