Finance Business Partner (Service Charges)

Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a London based housing association, with their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner, within their service charge team.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will drive a customer centric ethos and continuous improvement culture within the Finance team, ensuring all finance services deliver the best outcomes for residents

What will you do in the role?

* Partnering with the Operational Teams to provide financial insights including budget and forecast changes, providing narrative to support any changes

* Determining appropriate service charge accounting treatments in accordance with legislation, contractual arrangements, and best practice and then posting accruals and prepayments accordingly

* Act as a strategic financial advisor to the Operational Teams, developing financial models to aid data driven decision-making

* Produce financial planning and reporting for the various Operational Teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness and facilitating the consolidation into the wider business.

Who would excel in this role?

* Good knowledge of Service Charge legislation, accounting treatments and best practice

* Previous experience of business partnering with non-Finance colleagues, providing finance expertise and commercial challenge

* Budgeting experience
