This is an exciting opportunity for experienced people managers to join our CASS Governance & Oversight and UK Outsourcing Governance team.
As a Client Money, Regulatory Reporting and Automation Team Manager - Vice President within the CASS Governance & Oversight team, you will be responsible for the production of CASS related regulatory reporting submissions, the performance of the client money reconciliation and delivery of the automation and data utilization programme. You will become a part of the team that focuses on the design and implementation of the oversight framework for CASS rules requirements within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), ensuring the CIB’s Client Asset Oversight Officer (CAOO) and relevant Senior Management Functions (SMFs) are able to deliver on their regulatory responsibilities. You will work closely with Operations, Business and Product Management spanning all lines of business across the In-Scope Legal Entities. In addition, you will partner with Compliance, Audit and Risk.
The CASS Governance & Oversight and UK Outsourcing Governance team are responsible for the design, implementation and oversight of the governance frameworks that ensure that the CIB is able to comply with UK client asset rules set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and outsourcing requirements set by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).

Job responsibilities
- Oversees the production of the Client Money and Asset Return (CMAR) on a monthly basis, ensuring the information included is complete and accurate
- Oversees the performance of the client money reconciliation on a daily basis, works with business lines to understand and resolve any discrepancies that are identified
- Manages and prioritizes the delivery of the automation and data utilization programme, which is in place to improve the use of data to enhanced MI and attain greater process efficiency through automation
- Assists with any ad hoc CASS tasks or projects when required
- Conducts the day to day people management of the CASS Governance & Oversight Client Money, Regulatory Reporting and Automation team
- Builds strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the business and operations
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Proven previous experience in managing teams
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and to work under pressure to set deadlines
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and ability to drive change
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of the various components of the CIB (e.g. how its various functions and businesses are organized) and the CASS rules
- Experience with delivery of automation and understanding of key systems being used, such as Signavio, Alteryx and Tableau
