Equifind is supporting a multi-billion dollar private equity investor in recruiting a Finance Analyst. The successful candidate will be based at their London Mayfair office.

This dynamic investment group has a vast investor base, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, pension funds and more. They employee more than 200 staff across several European office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter looking to further their career within the finance/accountancy sector to work within a leading investment firm. The successful candidate will be highly numerate and driven with a strong desire to learn. There will be ample opportunity to learn and develop within the role.

Key deliverables:
  • Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual review of management accounts for corporate UK and European entities including P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Manage monthly AUM reporting and provide investor analysis
  • Prepare monthly cash flow analysis of management entities
  • Maintain and develop forecast models
  • Prepare and review of annual statutory financial statements for UK and European entities
  • Supervise service providers such as external bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors, and auditors
  • Prepare quarterly recharges
  • Manage and process monthly payroll
  • Produce technical accounting memos and provide analysis


Application criteria:
  • A qualified accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA preferred).
  • At least 3 years experience of relevant finance experience
  • An interest in private equity markets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Self-organised and self-motivated with a result-orientated mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
