A renowned performing arts organisation is looking for a strategic Finance Business Partner to support its artistic and commercial projects. This role combines financial analysis and production accounting, offering the opportunity to work closely with creative teams and influence the organisation's financial outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Finance.

You’ll deliver comprehensive financial insights and collaborate on budgeting and forecasting, supporting key productions and projects. You will manage production accounting, oversee payroll, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.

About the Role
You’ll deliver comprehensive financial insights and collaborate on budgeting and forecasting, supporting key productions and projects. You will manage production accounting, oversee payroll, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, production accounts, and committee briefings.
- Develop financial models to aid in decision-making and support budget owners.
- Oversee production cost allocations, cashflows, and box office income reporting.
- Manage payroll processes, supplier payments, and handle financial queries promptly.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Strong background in data analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting; arts sector experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with transaction processing.
- Communication: Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial staff, influence decisions, and work collaboratively.
- Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented, adept at meeting deadlines, and skilled in prioritising tasks in a dynamic setting.
