LHH (formerly known as Parker + Lynch) has been engaged in the search for a Senior Corporate Accountant with a large, privately held company headquartered in the Johnson County area. This is a great opportunity for someone coming straight out of public accounting or someone who has a few years of corporate accounting experience. The role is open due to an internal promotion and will report to the Assistant Controller.

This company offers a competitive base salary, above market annual bonus, and the opportunity to have a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and posting of month end journal entries
• Preparation and review of account reconciliations and analysis
• Preparation and review of monthly closing binders
• Preparation of deliverables for internal or external audit as needed
• Provide support for budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Complete special projects and other similar accounting duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred, but not required
• 2-5 years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communicator and professional demeanor
