The Account Manager is responsible to secure business, maintain good client relationships and to maximise revenues and profitability within customer accounts for which you are responsible.
Key responsibilities of Account Manager:
To manage customer accounts for which you are responsible. To set and implement policy within these accounts to maximise revenue and profitability on an international basis.
Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
To ensure that the offering is defined, is within the capabilities of the Company, and that the client has a respect for the CPA. Push back on the client to ensure that design freeze is respected and that lead time erosion is minimised.
To create contact reports and quotations, ensure that Production Orders are raised in a timely manner and maintain accurate client records
To ensure that a Project Manager is allocated to each project.
To take direction from the Project Manager on issues that relate to the achievement of plan.
To follow Company policies and procedures.
To ensure any quotation issued is within the Companys approval procedure and margin policies.
Ensure client approval meetings are properly prepared and executed.
To ensure that sales administration and record keeping is performed for the accounts for which you are responsible.
To ensure that invoices and credit notes (or any instruction/input for their preparation) reflect contract and to resolve invoice queries to reduce debtors.
To promote team-working behaviours, communication, professionalism and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business and to follow company policies.
To manage risks and to report major risks (and opportunities) to the Managing Director and the board.
Required skills of Account Manager:
Minimum of 3 year's experience within Account Management
Retail and POS knowledge
Flexibility of working hours.
Works well under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
