Are you ready to take control of your career? This is an all-encompassing Credit Control role; it's an opportunity to make a real impact in a busy dynamic department. Our client, a leading business in their field, is as serious about credit control as they are about their commitment to excellence.

Their offices, located in the bustling hub of Trafford Park, offer ample free parking on-site & while the position is full-time in the office, they understand the importance of flexibility in working hours.

The basic salary for this role is up to £30k & is based out of the office in Trafford Park (M32).

The Role

Key

responsibilities:

  • Oversee credit control & collections across multiple entities with a high volume of live customer accounts.
  • Follow the company's collection procedures to minimise bad debt and ensure timely invoice collections.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Keep a close eye on customer credit limits and spending.
  • Set up new customer accounts and run credit reports as needed.
  • Produce reports on overdue accounts to make collection calls and suspend deliveries.
  • Follow company procedures for high-risk customers, changes in ownership, business closures, and liquidation/administration.
  • Assist in initiating legal proceedings when necessary.
  • Provide ad-hoc accounts admin support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes.
