As a Private Client Tax Manager within this clients leading Tax Department, you will play a key part in their growth, whilst fast-tracking your own development and earning potential. You can expect to undertake the following tasks, but not limited to:
Manage a portfolio of cases for trusts and high-net-worth clients, drafting tax advice reports on IHT planning, residency, and domicile.
Meet clients to advise on tax planning, offer CGT advice for UK and non-UK residents.
Review junior staff work for professional growth and provide mentorship as necessary.
Handle compliance services, including tax return preparation, and promote firm-wide services, particularly financial planning.
Collect and maintain client data, address inquiries, and liaise with clients, HMRC, and other professional firms to ensure exceptional client service.
Identify opportunities for referrals and new clients.The skills and experience you will bring (but don't worry if you don't tick 100% of the boxes):
Previous experience in a private client/personal tax advisory and compliance role.
ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent) or nearing completion.
Up-to-date technical knowledge and an understanding of compliance standards.
Organised and strong time management skills.
Strong ability to build rapport quickly with clients and maintain these. It would be highly desirable if you have working knowledge of offshore trusts
