Reference: PS010371-RB-1A leading manufacturer and distributor of plastic products requires the above to oversee and strategically manage the company's finances and operations being 2IC to the CEO of the company.
Minimum requirements for the role:
A Chartered Accountant or CIMA or BCom Hons in Financial Accounting or related qualification is essential for the role.
Previous experience having worked in a senior financial management role is essential.
Previous experience of operating at an executive management level is preferred.
Previous operational financial management experience having worked within the plastics or related manufacturing industry with a strong focus on strategic management is essential.
Previous experience having worked within the agricultural and or related industries is preferred but not essential.
Previous exposure to risk management experience is essential.
Must be able to handle pressure, take ownership and accountability and drive good commercial outcomes with the managing executive.
Previous experience having dealt with forex / foreign currency is essential for the role.
Experience dealing with model valuation and investors is preferred for the role.
Must have a good business acumen and a general knowledge of business outside of the finance sphere.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing and strategically managing the company's finances and operations of the business.
Overseeing the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
Performing regular financial analysis.
Overseeing and managing forex and foreign currency for the company as well as handling model valuations and investors in the business.
Developing budgets that meet the requirements of the company's departments.
Establishing targets and managing all accounting and finance employees including management accountants and internal auditors.
Supervising all audit and internal control processes.
Preparing detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
Guaranteeing compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
Recognising patterns in company spending, and revenue, and recommending solutions to any problem areas.
Reviewing financial costing models.
Managing and driving the supply chain and operations of the business.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
