Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a variety of clients
- Providing advisory services on accounting best practices and compliance
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Supporting the team with complex accounting issues and projects
- Building strong relationships with clients and offering tailored advice
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards it)
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with a good understanding of New Zealand tax and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Proficiency with accounting software and the ability to adapt to new technologies
