The Role:
In this position, you'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them navigate complex financial requirements and offering insightful, strategic guidance. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys problem-solving, values client relationships, and thrives in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation
• Advising clients on tax obligations, best practices, and strategic financial planning
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Managing relationships with clients to understand their unique business needs
• Contributing to a team-oriented approach in handling client portfolios and accounting projects

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CA or CPA qualification (or progressing towards it)
• Demonstrated experience in an accounting role, with strong knowledge of New Zealand tax and accounting regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and a keen interest in leveraging technology
