NOV Rig Technologies Aftermarket Education Service team is recruiting for a Competency Advisor, to provide operational support for NOV’s Competency Management System. Strong exposure in dealing with different level of stakeholders within a large, fast paced environment is necessary. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter and have an attitude of “getting things done”.

This role will provide an opportunity for occasional travel (globally) as well as access to globally recognized qualifications. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITI
  • Help to maintain and improve the NOV competency system
  • Work closely with Management Teams to ensure visibility and understanding of KPI’s
  • Provide monthly reports to management team
  • Review and update competency documentation in line with business needs
  • Act as a Workplace Assessor and Internal Quality Assures
  • Active support and development of assessors and sites within NOV CM
  • Ensures records, practices, and processes of competency system align with the standards set by awarding bodies and NOV.


MAIN REQUIREMEN
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and technical information
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
  • Understanding of business needs and priorities (Business Acumen)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and build customer relationships (Customer Focus & Peer Relationships)
  • Action-oriented and ready to take on challenges
  • Strong sense of professional ethics and commitment to personal development
  • Preferred university degree or relevant work experience; confidence in public speaking.
