Key responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the finance team (five staff members).
- Oversee payroll processes.
- Provide financial support to budget managers.
- Offer financial insights to senior managers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth operation of the finance function.
- Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the College's financial operations.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Vice Principal (Finance & Resources) and bring significant experience in finance leadership, preferably within the education sector. You should be an ambitious and self-motivated leader, capable of driving the development of the College's finance function.

Proven leadership and financial management experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in managing financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
A deep understanding of the Further Education sector.
The ability to work flexibly and positively under pressure.
A commitment to acting as an advocate for the College's values and mission.
