Role Purpose
To provide technical support to the local partners and client service teams, including HNW clients and Trusts, to develop the private client compliance and advisory client base in the South West through business development, networking and the establishment and maintenance of relationships with other professionals.

Location:
Based in Swindon, Trowbridge or Bath, with the ability to work in other offices and undertake client visits as directed and/or required. Due to the nature of the work and the geographic spread, flexibility and a desire to visit clients.

Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with consultancy work - including some compliance as/where required - for a range of HNW personal clients, large corporates and Owner Managed Businesses
- Researching specialised tax issues and undertaking and managing advisory assignments
- Preparing proposals for prospective clients and taking an active role in the firm’s business development activities
- Identifying and acting on potential opportunities for providing additional services to existing clients
- Providing feedback and support to tax managers, directors and partners
- Maintaining proactive internal links between all tax functions in order to maintain a consistent approach to the provision of client services
- Supporting broader team development and assisting in firm-wide training activities as required
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain credibility internally and externally with clients and across a professional network.
- Able to work in an organised manner enabling you to prepare and present information to various audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-driven, results orientated individual with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering a high quality service.
- Able to work as part of a team and independently and be able to analyse information and situations to generate reasoned and risk-based recommendations and solutions.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional experience plus CTA or qualified by experience
- Proven experience of tax advisory and compliance expertise in corporate tax
