The Role

We are currently recruiting for several Finance Student Placements across various business units within Almac. The role of the Finance Placement Student is to provide support to a busy Finance department in the maintenance of accounting records and in the preparation, analysis & reporting of financial information.

As a student of finance or accountancy, the successful candidate will be able to understand and work with numbers, work on their own initiative to solve problems, and work to strict reporting deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

• Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree such as Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, with successful completion of 2 years.
• Minimum of 96 UCAS points achieved through the completion of A Levels, National Awards, Access, or other alternative approved level 3 qualifications.
• Minimum of 15 points at Level 2 or above (e.g. GCSE) or alternative approved qualifications, including a C grade in GCSE English language and a B grade in GCSE Maths (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with financial software including Microsoft Excel.
