- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial goals and needs.
- Prepare and present tailored financial plans, investment strategies, and risk assessments.
- Conduct regular reviews of clients' financial situations and adjust plans as necessary to adapt to changing circumstances and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide clients with the best advice and solutions.
Management and Mentoring
- Mentor and support a small but growing team of financial planners, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development and driving the new business pipeline.
- Conduct employee reviews to ensure ongoing competence of staff and that client service meets the required standards.
- Take ownership of the advice process, reviewing appropriate policies and procedures, and aligning them with regulatory and company requirements.
- Challenge the status quo and draw on experience to improve processes and procedures.
- Deliver management information to the board periodically.
Business Development
- Identify and exploit opportunities for business development.
- Supporting key projects and initiatives within the business as required.
Conduct
- Promoting the company’s values.
- Adherence to the conduct rules as defined by the FCA.
- Taking responsibility for personal training as required to keep abreast with the latest regulatory and legislative changes.
