are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client, a well-established and successful SME with a growing global presence, is seeking a motivated individual to manage their accounts at a transactional level. As the first point of contact in accounts department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the financial administration of the incoming and outgoing payments, and liaising with internal and external stakeholder to resolve issues and manage queries. This role offers variety and the chance to take ownership of the company’s accounts functions, working within a supportive team.
The key duties and responsibilities include:

Managing account information and processing documentation
*
Credit control and supplier payments (both UK and worldwide)
*
Preparing and distributing invoices, statements, and other financial documents
*
Monitoring and reconciling account balances
*
Handling incoming stock orders and managing staged payments
*
Assisting with financial reporting and analysis when required
*
Ensuring exceptional client service by responding to inquiries and resolving account-related issues
They are looking for a candidate with experience in a comparable position and with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Sage50 and be competent using Excel.
