Finance Manager - Leading SME Manufacturing Business
Keighley, West Yorkshire
We are proud to partner with a prestigious SME manufacturing company in Keighley, West Yorkshire, with a rich heritage dating back to the early 1900s. Our client specialises in designing and manufacturing essential products and components that power a variety of industries. As part of their continued success, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in this business-critical role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Finance Manager to make a real impact, working closely with the Managing Director in a secure and well-established business.

The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations across the business. Key duties include:
* Managing general accounting duties, including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and credit control
* Leading monthly management reporting and handling staff payroll and pensions
* Processing monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and year-end activities
* Managing intercompany balances, supplier invoices, and multiple bank account reconciliations
* Handling month-end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and liaising with external accountants
* Proactively reviewing financial data to identify issues and implement corrective actions
* Conducting material/labour variance analysis and setting labour/overhead rates
What will you bring to the role?
* A recognised financial qualification, ideally AAT qualified
* Proven experience in the manufacturing or engineering sectors
* Strong understanding of accounting tools (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM) and product supply chains
* Excellent analytical skills, numeracy, and attention to detail
* The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and provide clear financial insights
