Truly inspirational, dynamic group business experiencing consistent year-on-year growth are looking for an ambitious qualified Finance Manager to join their team. They are part of a wider group with this business as the core operation but are complemented by multiple group entities, each contributing to a diverse portfolio. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other departments and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision making.
* Timely production and review of the group’s monthly management accounts
* Work closely with the Management Accountant - Financial, to make sure all aspects of the accounts are complete and accurate
* Seek to make improvements to the process enabling a more automated & timely prodcution
* Prepare backup and detailed variance analysis so that any variances are fully understood
* Work with the business leaders to create an annual budget making sure you understand the logic and rationale applied when creating it
* Fully understand performance and why it deviates from budgeted and forecasted performance, not just in numbers but in understanding the business
* Create and own a robust forecasting process that enables the business to be able to rely on forecasted numbers when taking decisions
* Assistance with the group’s audit process in conjunction with the Finance Manager - Financial Reporting
* Create consistency in financial modelling across the business
* Use data to drive decisions
* Working together as a team with the GFC, GFD and CFO to provide sound financial advice to the business
