Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Principal Auditor in Lincoln. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

The work will include acting as Principal Auditor, overseeing (but supporting where necessary) the delivery of the audits in Q4 to conclude the annual audit plan
Work will also include overseeing / completing follow up audits / activity in Q4 to ensure audits delivery that resulted in recommendations and actions are followed up
Complete follow-up audits and activities in Q4 to verify that audit recommendations and actions have been properly implemented, ensuring organizational compliance and risk mitigation
Engage in face-to-face meetings and coaching sessions with senior auditors, offering guidance, quality assurance, and best practices to maintain high audit standardsThe candidate:

A member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
Financial background is advantageous
Significant experience in a senior audit role, ideally with a financial audit background, enabling effective oversight of audits with financial components
