Essential Role Requirements

* 7+ years of practice experience.

* AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified.

* Experience managing a client portfolio and completing year-end accounts.

* Strong leadership skills to manage and train a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

* Managing a team of staff and overseeing a portfolio of clients.

* Reviewing annual accounts and corporation tax returns for accuracy and compliance.

* Preparing detailed management accounts in Excel and annual accounts for larger clients.

* Supporting the onboarding of new clients, including meetings and sending proposals.

* Acting in a client-facing role, offering strategic business advice and support.

* Playing a key role in training staff and ensuring smooth operations within the practice.
