Chapman Tate Associates, a leading recruitment agency, is excited to represent a dynamic and growing organization in their search for a meticulous and efficient Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, particularly within the accounts payable function.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger, helping to process invoices, manage payments, and maintain accurate financial records. This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. You’ll work closely with the finance team to support the business’s ongoing growth.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase invoices, credit notes, and payment runs
* Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries
* Ensuring compliance with financial procedures and policies
* Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end tasks
* Assisting in ad hoc financial projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Skills: Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
* Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) is preferred
* Flexibility: Ability to work independently with a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week
