Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a reputable client based in Hertford, who are now seeking a Credit Controller to join their growing team. They are offering a salary of up to £28,000 as well as benefits such as 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, private health insurance, one day working from home per week after probationary period.
The role of the Credit Controller will be to assist with Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Sales Order Input as well as other adhoc duties. This role would be best suited to someone who is currently pursuing their AAT qualification who is keen to progress within a business.
Credit Controller Job Overview
Proactively chase late/non-payments via telephone and email, turning outstanding debts into paid invoices.
Onboard new customers and manage their accounts seamlessly.
Issue pro-forma invoices and ensure monthly customer statements are timely and accurate.
Retrieve missing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and handle customer queries with finesse.
Process sales orders efficiently on Sage, ensuring our sales pipeline is always up to date.
Keep our accounts paperwork organized and easily accessible.
Scan supplier invoices to our server for a seamless digital workflow.
Take on various ad-hoc duties that make every day different and exciting.
Credit Controller Job Requirements
Experience working within a similar role previously is essential
Sage 50 experience preferred.
Working towards AAT qualification
Credit Controller Salary & Benefits
Salary £26,000 - £28,000 dependent upon experience.
Annual leave 25 days + bank holidays
Days Monday - Friday
Hours 9am - 5pm
Private health Insurance (after qualifying period)
Pension contribution
