Are you now seeking a part time role?

Our client is an established and reputable food processing company, based just outside Wrexham. They are now seeking a Payroll Assistant to join them on a part time basis, working 24 hours per week (Monday - Wednesday) in their finance department. Working with the Payroll Officer, you’ll be an important part of the team and will support the team with administrative duties relating to the processing of weekly payroll for employees.

You’ll have used Sage Payroll previously along with strong administrative skills, and will have experience of working within a Payroll department

This will be a varied role, but the position will include the following:

* Completing payroll administration for new starters and leavers

* Collating data for, and processing weekly payroll (including bonus / overtime , holidays, pensions, sickness and absences)

* Dealing with specific and general payroll queries from staff

* Checking and updating tax codes

* Processing and completing holiday requests

* Ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and on time

* Supporting external and internal payroll audits

You’ll be a reliable individual who has excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and is able to form positive working relationships with your colleagues. You’ll have a professional attitude to work and the ability to maintain confidentiality, whilst prioritising your workload and working to strict deadlines. This is a part time role, offering a salary of £24,000 - £26,000 (pro rata)
