Finatal is thrilled to be supporting a dynamic, private equity-backed services business in their search for an M&A Associate to join their London office. The company is on an exciting growth trajectory, having achieved significant success over the past year. With an ambitious acquisition pipeline, they aim to further scale the business and enhance EBITDA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an eager and driven individual looking to learn and develop in a high-impact M&A environment. Reporting directly to a highly supportive Head of M&A, who is committed to training and mentoring, this role will provide valuable exposure to the full M&A process within a collaborative team setting.



Responsibilities:


• Conduct initial screening of acquisition targets to assess alignment with strategic goals and financial criteria.

• Assist in coordinating Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Legal Due Diligence (LDD) processes, working with cross-functional teams to support cohesive evaluations.

• Help manage data room reviews, track key documents, and participate in Q&A to support comprehensive assessments.

• Support in preparing investment papers and briefing notes for internal stakeholders, summarizing key insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualification, with experience in audit.

• A strong desire to learn and grow, with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
