Practice Manager / Office Manager (Accounting Firm)
Century City, Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08h30 - 17h00
Salary: Highly Negotiable for the Right Candidate

Our client, a reputable accounting firm in Century City, is seeking a seasoned Practice Manager with prior experience in an accounting firm environment. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, acting as a “traffic manager” to oversee workflow and ensure all tasks and submissions are completed accurately and on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Accounting Diploma / Degree is highly beneficial
  • Industry Experience: Proven background in an accounting firm, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and workflows.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Caseware is highly advantageous.
  • Organizational Excellence: A strict, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • HR & People Skills: Strong people management abilities, able to handle sensitive HR matters and track employee performance effectively.


The Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Professional & Mature: Seeking an individual with a firm, no-nonsense approach, able to maintain a well-structured and efficient office.
  • Proactive & Independent: Able to take initiative and ensure all office functions run smoothly without the need for micromanagement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Workflow Management: Oversee and streamline office processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions, including monthly accounts and other critical deadlines.
  • Time and Billing Oversight: Track timesheets, hours worked, and billed hours, managing any discrepancies, absenteeism, or performance issues.
  • HR Administration: Maintain HR oversight, including tracking employee attendance, managing timesheets, and addressing any HR-related issues.
  • Direct Staff Supervision: Supervise the receptionist and office administrator, fostering a professional, organized environment.
  • Director Support: Provide direct assistance to the Directors, keeping them informed of office operations and any areas needing attention.
