Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Lead the preparation and submission of federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage internal controls over financial reporting.
Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Monitor and implement changes in accounting standards and tax legislation that impact the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, balance sheets, and income statements.
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analyzes as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
CPA or equivalent certification preferred not required
3+ years of experience in financial accounting, with a focus on financial and tax reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
Proven experience with financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and audit processes.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
