Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a dynamic and growing accounting firm based in Leicestershire, who is looking for a qualified ACCA/ACA accountant to join our team. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing a range of accounting services to them.

Key

responsibilities:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
• Providing accounting services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT returns
• Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Providing advice on accounting and tax matters to clients
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Assisting with the training and development of junior staff members

Requirements:

• Qualified ACCA/ACA accountant with experience in practice
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
• Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver a high-quality service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software would be beneficial
