We are delighted to be working with this award-winning business to assist with the development and growth of their Corporate Tax service line with the appointment of a new Corporate Tax Senior Manager.

Tax Department

The Tax team has seen incredible success and growth over the past 24 months, whilst the business has grown and onboarded across all service lines such as Audit, Corporate Finance, Business Services etc. the Tax team has benefited greatly during this period through their own endeavours and the success of the senior management team to cross sell the service line across the many teams within the firm.

The Tax department current employs circa 170 staff across the UK, within this they support clients on matters such as Corporate Tax, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Private Client Tax, M&A and Deals Tax as well as a host of Indirect Tax specialists.

Duties

Overall, as a Corporate Tax Senior Manager your position plays a critical role in providing high-quality tax services to corporate clients, managing tax compliance and risks, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the tax practice.
  • Tax Compliance: Staying up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Planning and Strategy: Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimize the tax position of corporate clients.
  • Client Management: Building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored tax advice and solutions.
  • Team Management and Leadership: Leading and supervising a team of tax professionals, including tax associates and tax managers.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating tax risks associated with corporate transactions, restructuring, and other business activities.
  • Business Development: Contributing to the growth and expansion of the tax practice by identifying opportunities for new business development, cross-selling services to existing clients, and participating in marketing and networking activities.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and quality of tax-related work products, including tax returns, tax provisions, and advisory reports.

Candidate Profile
  • Experienced Manager/Senior Manager
  • Qualification - CTA, ATT, ACCA, or relevant equivalent
  • Management experience of 2+ years
