Warner Scott are partnered with a leading Professional Services firm in Manchester who are looking to expand their Transaction Services Team at the Senior Manager level. Our client has seen excellent growth in the last 12 months, and has plans for continued expansion in the next year. Key

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end financial due diligence engagements for clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Manage complex projects across multiple sectors, providing financial analysis, strategic insight, and risk assessment to assist clients in decision-making processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior-level clients, providing exceptional client service and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, managing their development, work allocation, and ensuring quality control across engagements.
  • Support the development of the firm’s transaction advisory practice through business development, including proposal preparation and client pitch presentations.
  • Collaborate with other service lines such as tax, audit, and legal advisory to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments to provide relevant advisory services.


Key Requirements:
  • Qualified in a relevant professional certification (e.g., ACA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in transaction advisory services, financial due diligence, or corporate finance, ideally in a professional services firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements, identifying key business drivers, and understanding cash flows and working capital.
  • Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and complex transactions.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with a track record of managing and expanding client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
