MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a Leading FMCG business in their search for a Finance Director. This is a permanent position based in Leeds.

As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the organisation. You will oversee all financial aspects, ensuring the company meets its strategic objectives while maintaining strong financial health. You will work closely with the executive team to influence company direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
• Provide strategic insights to the executive team and board of directors.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Engage with stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions.

What are we looking for?

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, budgeting, and financial regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
