I am proud to be supporting Rickmansworth School in their search for a new Director of Finance and Operations. Rickmansworth School is a leading school in the Hertfordshire area following an "Outstanding" ofsted rating in 2023. With demand for places in their school, they have exemplary student behaviour, fostering a culture where students love learning and thrive academically.
Following a recent £6M investment in new facilities, including a Sixth-Form Centre, Performing Arts Theatres, and an Innovation & Design Centre. Our strong, stable financial position is supported by a robust PTA and Foundation.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Director of Finance and Business Operations to lead and enhance the strategic priorities of the school. The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record in financial management and compliance. Experience in overseeing systems, ensuring robust support, and promoting staff development is essential. The ability to work collaboratively as part of the Senior Leadership Team, driving operational excellence and long-term sustainability for the school, is crucial.
You will ideally be a qualified ACA, CIPFA, CIMA or ACCA accountant who has had experience in a leadership role. This person would come from one of the following backgrounds.
