- Implement vibrant feedback mechanisms to gather insights from assessments and team input, refining training programs to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
- Offer personalized coaching to tax staff, deepening their understanding of intricate tax issues and supporting their professional development.
- Identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans to enhance the expertise of team members, fostering both individual and team growth.
- Lead efforts to attract top talent for the tax department, overseeing the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience that aligns new hires with organizational goals.
- Facilitate opportunities for team members to collaborate with other departments, enhancing their understanding of how tax impacts various business functions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align the tax team's goals with the organization's strategic vision, ensuring that the team contributes to broader business objectives
- Familiarize yourself with all the features your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system offers, this includes contact management, customer support, marketing automation, and reporting tools.
- Knowing how to use the CRM effectively to transform it from a simple database into a vital part of your strategic operations.
- Partner with IT, Operations, and the Executive team to uncover opportunities for automation, transforming processes into efficient workflows.
- Leverage your in-depth understanding of tax regulations and consulting experience to deliver strategic insights and creative solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional self-management while steering the team towards shared goals, setting a standard for accountability.
- Use your numerical prowess to ensure precise reporting and compliance, turning complex data into actionable insights.

- Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest tax laws and industry trends, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and compliant.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Chartered Accountant) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in tax, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. Consulting experience is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax planning strategies. Familiarity with international tax principles is beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying tax concepts to non-tax professionals and engaging stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects and initiatives, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in tax software and tools, as well as strong capabilities in using data analytics and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of tax reporting and compliance.
- Ability to stay ahead of industry trends and changes in tax laws, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain compliance and optimize opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Executive leadership.
- High ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information and compliance matters.
- Ability to work in office from 3 PM - 12 AM
