Job Summary:
Our client, a leading player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be accountable for overseeing all financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting decision-making through in-depth financial analysis and reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and work with other finance leaders within a larger corporate group. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Management: Ensure accurate documentation and integrity of all financial records, adhering to compliance standards.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, sales analysis, and reconciliations, to inform senior management on financial performance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and provide inputs into strategic business decisions.
• Audit and Compliance: Manage the audit process, ensure compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards, and uphold corporate governance principles.
• ERP and Treasury Management: Manage ERP system functionalities and oversee Treasury operations, including bank reconciliations and online banking oversight.
• Cost Management and Standard Costing: Develop and implement cost management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team to ensure high standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Educational Background: Certified Chartered Accountant, CIMA Qualification
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP accounting systems, advanced Excel skills.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in an accounting role, with specific experience in manufacturing; pharmaceutical industry experience is advantageous.
