A great opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Accountant to join a forward-thinking organization. You will be responsible for managing all financial procedures, including preparation of accounts, financial planning, budgeting, and cost control. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy leading a team, this role offers room for professional growth.Duties & Responsibilities
Compile and balance monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Verify and authorize payments
Prepare and manage the monthly management accounting pack
Review and manage monthly creditor reconciliations
Post and review journals prepared by bookkeepers, debtors, and creditors clerks
Oversee monthly cash flow requirements and submissions of loan applications
Submit CAPEX applications for values over R100k with financial justifications
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
Lead and mentor a team of accountants

Skills & Experience:
5 years of experience working as an Accountant
Retail experience is non-negotiable
Leadership experience is non-negotiable

Qualification:
BCom Degree or equivalent in accounting
Honours preferred
