YOUR ROLE

As an Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact with an array of clients to understand their payment needs and help them to use Roam to unlock value within their business.

Numbers and processes are a key part of the bigger picture for you, so you are definitely going to want to be comfortable with this. But the quality that will make you stand out is how you are with people. When a client thinks of Roam, they will think of you. Working closely with management, you will leverage our platform to deliver a level of service to our clients that will help to grow their business and proactively solve challenges they face.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Roam is built on Salesforce, the world's number one CRM. You'll be working with this technology to:

  • Fully support all aspects of a client's booking process from start to finish - if they ever need assistance, you'll be there
  • Manage and retain relationships at an account level - make them wonder how they did it without us before
  • Provide in person and virtual training sessions with clients to ensure a smooth experience within the platform
  • Provide support to travellers when they have queries around making payment for a booking
  • Ensure timeous receipt and reconciliation of payments through effective communication with clients
  • Liaise with external service providers with regards to various forex functions
  • Be an ambassador for the Roam brand

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The perfect Account Manager will possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a direct client services role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, con?dence, a commitment to service excellence and relationship building
  • A recognised three-year qualification with a curriculum that preferably included finance/stats/economics
  • Flawless presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English - we'll be looking at this from the first moment we contact you
  • Analytical thinking and proven ability in working with numbers - this will be assessed through a numeracy test
  • Incredible organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to self manage - deliverables, quality and timelines
  • Experience in the travel industry is hugely advantageous
  • Advanced excel skills would be a plus
