In the role of Assistance Finance Business Partner your duties will include:

Prepare and present budgets, management accounts, and forecasts.

Ensure accurate monthly reconciliations.

Set up and manage financial processes and contracts.

Lead ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements.

Support the preparation of statutory accounts.

Assist the Finance Business Partner with team leadership.

Step in for the Finance Business Partner when needed.

Manage inter-company accounts and reporting.

Input financial data for benchmarking.

Collaborate on financial reporting to support the Business Plan

To be successful in the role of Assistance Finance Business Partner you will need the following:

To be AAT fully qualified or equivalent qualification

Experience of preparing and presenting annual budgets to Managers, Executives and Board Members for a Group Company

Experience of preparing and presenting Management Accounts to Managers, Executives and Board Members for a Group Company including inter-company accounts.

Experience of monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate management accounts

Experience of setting up processes, procedures and contracts

Experience of supporting statutory accounts

The ability to write reports for financial and non-financial audiences

Extensive IT experience

This is a fixed term contract of 15 months and an extensive handover will be required each side. With a start date of ASAP and an end date of 30th September 2025. With a salary of up to £40,699 on offer (dependent on experience).
