Puro Accountancy is thrilled to support an accounting firm in Rochdale in their search for a full-time, permanent Semi-Senior Accountant to join their welcoming and skilled team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities of the Semi-Senior Accountant will include:
- Bookkeeping via a variety of digital systems.
- Preparation, calculation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Preparation, calculation and submission of Self-Assessment Returns to HMRC.
- Preparation of annual financial statements.
- Preparation, calculation and submission of Corporation Tax Returns to HMRC.
- Liaising with clients.
- Operating with a regular portfolio of clients.

To be eligible for the Semi-Senior Accountant role, you should possess:
- Must hold 2 + years of UK Practice Accounting Experience
- A good set of IT skills, with experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent and IRIS
- Able to work as both individually and within a team
- Preference will be given to candidates with AAT or above qualifications
