The successful candidate will work closely with business divisions and accounting teams to uphold global accounting standards and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for UK operations.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and reports.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements for timely and accurate information.
- Perform and review various monthly processes, analyses, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the UK FP&A team to understand financial performance and variances.
- Work with other teams to ensure the integrity of accounting controls, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant with UK recognised accounting qualification.
- Experience in management reporting and month-end close.
- Knowledge of NetSuite.
- Reporting experience under both UK and US GAAP.
- Experience in a regional accounting team within an international/public company.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and independent thinker with process improvement experience.
- Proficient in PC skills and financial applications (Excel, Word, Hyperion, NetSuite).
- Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
