The business operates across multiple countries, with over 40 physical locations, which is growing each year through organic and inorganic growth. The Role
You will be a part of the Finance Department that supports the EMEA region within the group, holding responsibility for the production of Monthly management accounts for the UK&I entities in the group, with combined revenue of roughly £500m. The Role
You will be a part of the Finance Department that supports the EMEA region within the group, holding responsibility for the production of Monthly management accounts for the UK&I entities in the group, with combined revenue of roughly £500m. This role is a terrific opportunity for someone to gain exposure in a global business, learning best practice from some of the brightest minds in the industry. A list of duties are outlined below:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Posting accruals and prepayments, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Carry out P&L analysis and commentary
- Bank reconciliations
- Completion of monthly commentary file and quarterly reporting packs
- Preparation of payroll journals
- Continually look to improve controls and processes, increasing the quality of monthly reconciliations
- Work closely with internal team and external auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures
- Ad hoc duties where required to support the wider finance department
What they're looking for
- Full or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- An experienced management accountant, comfortable with operating in a complex environment
- ERP system experience
- A pro-active thinker, someone prepared and willing to challenge existing processes/controls
- Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, proven ability to build effective relationships
