RTX is creating a Finance Technology Center of Excellence based in Bangalore to support its technology platforms used globally by the RTX Finance organization. This position will work closely with the U.S. based COE Team to perform application maintenance activities, help desk support for our global Finance users, and assist with the implementation of new solutions. Technologies that will be supported by this position include Alteryx, Archer, BlackLine, CorpTax, Longview, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform application maintenance activities, ensuring updates are completed timely and meet quality standards. Application maintenance includes activities such as metadata, user security and member list changes; developing and executing test scripts; loading FX rates; updating Excel retrieve files; data loads and application rollovers.
  • Ensure help desk tickets are resolved within agreed service level times and monitor survey feedback to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with development of training material, including training videos.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Support UK standard working hours (Time Zone UTC+1).
  • Daily interface with U.S based team to discuss ongoing tasks and handoff high priority issues.


Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience working in accounting, reporting, consolidation, planning / forecasting, or finance technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability be adaptive and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office with advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Strong passion and acumen for technology and helping to drive change and transformation.
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.


Preferred Skills:
  • General knowledge / familiarity with corporate consolidations & reporting, tax regulations, tax compliance & reporting processes is preferred.
  • Experience with Longview Tax, CorpTax and HFM/OneStream, including knowledge of multi-dimensional systems, metadata hierarchies is preferred.
  • General knowledge or experience with scripting such as VBA, SQL, or Longview Application Framework is preferred.
  • General knowledge related to data science, US Corporate taxation, or relevant software tools is preferred.

Experience with Web APIs, Alteryx, Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate), SharePoint, QLIK and/or Machine Learning technologies is preferred.
