Job Description

This role performs the debtors control function to ensure timeous payment. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts

Creates monthly invoices and statements.
Journalizes invoices on the General Ledger system.
Creates Cost Centres and Cost Centre Accounts.
Assists with general account queries.
Follows up with debtors and internal departments to secure payment.
Compiles and Reconciliation Control Accounts and General Ledger Accounts.

Maintain fixed asset register

Minimum Requirements :

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Tertiary qualification beneficial
• 3 years of experience in an accounting environment
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Proven experience with MS Office (intermediate level - MS Excel and Word)
• Experience with SUMMIT/Oracle would be advantageous
