We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant for a 6-12 month contract with a leading mining organisation. You will play a key role in project costing, financial reporting, and budget tracking, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights
• Assist with month/quarter-end tasks
• Assist with project WBS creation in SAP
• Assist with project reporting in SAP and BPC
• Assist with SOX documentation for month/quarter-end
• Balance sheet preparation
• Ad-hoc tasks

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience as a project accountant
• Experience in mining industry is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Degree in Accounting/ Finance
