About the role

VMCH Accounts payable team is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join this supportive team. This full-time position reports to the AP Team Leader and is a golden opportunity to develop your AP skills.

About you

You will have 1 - 2 years of experience processing Accounts Payable invoice in a high-volume setting, you will have excellent attention to detail and highly accurate data input skills. Your customer service and communication skills will be top notch, you will be managing the queries from vendors and internal managers and working to resolve issues.

Skills and experience
  • Proven work experience in an accounts payable or similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and medium/large scale accounting software
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Prior experience handling high volume invoices
  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently
  • An understanding of GST and other financial legislative requirements impacting on the accounts payable function
  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with Epicor, Docstar and Arm
