The Company

The group is WA based and continues to embark on it's growth journey putting in systems and processes that lend itself to a world class organisation. Although they operate in the Not for Profit space, the executive team has very high standards and run the group similar to a listed company
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your core focus will be serving as the corporate reporting specialist, telling the story of the business to the board and working closely with the executive leadership team.
You will provide operational and financial analysis of results and be responsible for compiling comprehensive financial reports in a reasonably autonomous role.
You will be managing a team of qualified accountants and transactional staff.
The role is commercial in nature, and requires a confident individual who works well up and down the organisation chart. Key stakeholders will included the board, CEO, CFO, COO, Group FC, Divisional General Management, and more.
About You
You are a commercially and career minded accountant underpinned by a strong foundation in technical accounting knowledge. With a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience, you have worked in medium to large businesses within reporting focused roles
You have exceptional formal report writing skills and the confidence to present your information to the C-suite.
Ideally you have gained experience in complex organisations with multiple divisions where you consolidated financial reports.
A background/knowledge a grant acquittal reporting will be highly regarded.
A relevant accounting qualification is essential to a successful application and a background in public practice would be ideal.
